Building Envelope

Experienced execution for complex building envelope upgrade or repair work.

Building envelope repairs often involve more than replacing the visible damaged material. Water can travel behind cladding, around windows and doors, through failed transitions and into concealed wall assemblies before the source or full extent of the problem becomes clear.

Estata performs building envelope repair and reconstruction work for restoration contractors, property managers and project teams throughout the Lower Mainland. We work from established scopes, consultant direction and repair details to execute the work carefully and integrate new construction properly with the existing building.

Our work includes:

Where We Fit

Estata is often brought in when the repair involves multiple building components, difficult access, concealed conditions or careful coordination between consultants and other trades.

These projects may involve occupied buildings, localized water ingress, existing assemblies that need to remain in place, difficult transitions or repairs where simply removing and replacing the visible material does not address the underlying problem.

Our role is to understand the repair scope, plan the sequence and execute the work while maintaining proper integration between the new and existing building components.

Built Around the Repair Sequence

Building envelope restoration is rarely a single-step process.

Exterior finishes may need to be removed carefully, concealed conditions exposed and the affected assembly rebuilt in the correct sequence. Flashings, weather barriers, drainage cavities, windows, doors and cladding all need to work together once the repair is complete.

Where building envelope consultants or engineers are involved, we work directly from their drawings, specifications and repair details and communicate site conditions as they are uncovered.

The objective is straightforward: complete the required repair properly, protect what remains and keep the project moving.
